Babies, children and teens – there is such hope and promise in their faces.
Why do so many of them fall through the cracks of the healthcare
system to have their futures’ put on hold? 

It’s a puzzle.

One piece of the puzzle was added when Mission Children’s Hospital was started in 1984 to serve the children of Western North Carolina. A second piece was added in 2006 when the Children’s Hospital opened the Reuter Outpatient Center. 

Children are still falling through the cracks. This won’t change until all children have access to Mission Children’s Hospital’s inpatient, outpatient and outreach services.
